Chicago is not a city of glory.
Hundred of years ago, there used to be Indian tribes that live in the place that is now the city Chicago. The name Chicago actually originated from Indian words. The newcomers immigrated to the new world and started to settle down. Conflicts arise. On day, a big fire destroyed almost the whole city and killed lots of people. Fortunately, new buildings and high rises were built, modernizing the city. However, the new appearance of the city did not bring blessing. Racism was prevalent while new and old immigrants could not live along with one another. For decades, Chicago was tied to crime. The freezing temperature in the winter made the city look stale and monotonous. The roads were filled with people rushing around and impatient drivers.
